Privacy Policy for TheMsChoice
Last updated: March 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MS Choice Company ("MS Choice," "TheMsChoice," "we," "us," or "our") accesses, collects, stores, uses, and shares information when you use the TheMsChoice Android application, including the application distributed through Google Play under package name com.themschoice.themschoice.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app and information handled through that app. Separate terms or policies may apply if you interact with our website, social media pages, or third-party services outside the app.
This policy is intended to be read together with any in-app disclosures that appear when the app asks for certain permissions or data. If there is a difference between a feature-specific in-app disclosure and this policy, the stricter statement will apply unless a law requires otherwise.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
When you use checkout or save delivery information, we may collect the following information that you enter:
- Name
- Phone number
- Governorate
- City
- Delivery address
- Closest point or landmark
- Order note or delivery note, if you choose to provide one
- Coupon text, if you choose to enter one
1.2 Order and shopping information
When you browse and place an order, we may process:
- Products viewed or added to cart
- Selected product variants
- Quantity of items
- Wishlist selections
- Order total and related checkout information
1.3 Optional location information
If you grant location permission during checkout, the app may collect your device's precise location or approximate location in the form of GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) to help with delivery address accuracy and order fulfillment.
Location access is optional. If you do not grant location permission, you can still use the app and enter your delivery address manually.
1.4 Information stored locally on your device
To keep the app functional between sessions, the app may store certain data on your device, including:
- Cart contents
- Wishlist items
- Saved delivery address details
- Coupon text
- Order note
- Whether you have previously been prompted for location permission
In the current Android app codebase, some of this information, such as cart state, wishlist state, coupon text, order note, and saved address details, is stored locally on your device for app continuity.
1.5 Information we do not currently collect for advertising or analytics through this Android app codebase
Based on the current Android application codebase as of March 20, 2026, the app does not include advertising SDKs, mobile analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs. If that changes in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide additional disclosures and obtain any required consent.
2. How We Use Information
We use information covered by this policy for the following purposes:
- To provide the app's shopping, cart, wishlist, catalog, and checkout features
- To process, submit, and manage your orders using the order details you choose to send
- To save your cart and delivery details for convenience on your device between sessions
- To help identify or confirm a delivery location when you choose to share location
- To communicate with you about an order or customer support request when needed
- To operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app and our services
- To comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or enforcement obligations
In the current Android app codebase, coupon text and order notes are stored locally for checkout continuity and are not included in the app's current order submission payload.
3. Permissions and Sensitive Data Access
The app may request or use the following permissions:
- Internet access, so the app can load products, categories, banners, brands, client results, and submit orders
- Network state access, so the app can work more reliably depending on connectivity
- Approximate and precise location, only to help capture a delivery location during checkout if you choose to grant access
We request location in context for an active checkout flow, not for unrelated or background tracking purposes. We do not require location permission for general browsing of the app.
4. When We Share Information
We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With our backend and order-processing systems, including systems operated under the themschoice.com domain and related infrastructure, to provide catalog data and process orders
- With service providers acting on our behalf, such as hosting, infrastructure, security, or technical support providers, where access is reasonably necessary to operate the service
- With legal or regulatory authorities when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property
- As part of a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law
We do not sell personal or sensitive user data obtained through this app. We also do not share personal or sensitive user data for advertising personalization purposes through the current Android app codebase.
5. Where Information Is Stored
Some information is stored locally on your device so the app can restore your cart, wishlist, and saved checkout details.
Information related to product catalog requests and submitted orders may be processed by our servers or server providers that support our services.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for different periods depending on the purpose:
- Local app data on your device may remain until you remove it in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app
- Submitted order and delivery information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill orders, provide customer support, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations
- Location information captured for an order may be retained as part of the order record if it was submitted with that order
When retention is no longer reasonably necessary, we will delete or de-identify information where feasible, unless continued retention is required or permitted by law.
7. How You Can Control Your Information
You may have the ability to:
- Review and edit delivery details before submitting an order
- Decline location permission and use manual address entry instead
- Remove items from your cart or wishlist
- Clear app data from your Android device settings
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information that we control, subject to applicable law
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal and sensitive user data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Examples include:
- Use of HTTPS for current backend API communication
- Restricting data use to app functionality and operational needs
- Limiting collection of optional sensitive data, such as location, to user-initiated checkout use
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
TheMsChoice is a skincare and beauty shopping application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. International Processing
Depending on how our services are hosted and supported, information may be processed in countries other than the country where you use the app. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps designed to ensure that personal data receives an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable law.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, our practices, legal requirements, or Google Play requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy will apply, subject to applicable law.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to submit a privacy-related request, you can contact MS Choice Company through our contact page: https://themschoice.com/contactus
You may also use any updated privacy contact details that we publish in the app or on our official website.
